The Heritage Ride

The Heritage Ride is a group ride offering two distance-options: 55km or 110km. Cyclists of varying cycling abilities and equipment will be divided in 3 groups, so that everyone gets to enjoy the ride at their own pace. MetaSport coaches will be leading the groups. The Heritage ride was introduced to the Vietnam Triatlon in 2008, for participants to enjoy the unique Vietnamese heritage and countryside. Something you may not get to do during the competition. And since you have made the effort to bring your bike to Hoi An, you should use it!

Mountain Bikes are available to hire from our partner saigon Cycles. Cost is $10 USD per day. The bikes are well maintained and either Giant or Trek.

Please book online as we will only be able to provide bikes to people who've booked in advance.

As this ride is 55km some training is required for the inexperienced cyclist before they participate. In order to ensure everyone reaches My Son Valley before 11:30am a truck will sweep cyclists riding at less than 25km/hour.

If you are leaving Hoi An on Sunday 11th, please plan enough time to make your flight.

The last participant/ bus is expected to return to the Golden Sand Resort at 3pm.
