Donations

We are not a government funded organisation, so we rely on the generous support of individuals and corporations to fund the program.  It costs around US$20 to put each child through the swimming program. This includes tuition, insurance, swimming outfit and any transport needed.

There are a number of ways you can make a donation. For more information please contact jostewartscot@yahoo.co.uk.  It is not only cash donations which are needed. Swimming equipment, especially children’s swimming goggles, are also extremely useful.

Fund Raising

Many children have been assisted by money which has been raised by people around the world who have donated their time to help organise fund raising events and donated the proceeds to the swimming program.  We are extremely grateful to those people who have supported us and been so generous with their time.  If you would like to help raise money for the program by organising a fund raising event please email jostewartscot@yahoo.co.uk

Volunteer Swim Teachers

Do you hold a recognised swim teacher qualification? Would you like to teach children to swim in Central Vietnam?  If the answers to these questions are yes then it is possible that you could work on the swimming program as a volunteer swimming teacher.  You should also be enthusiastic, have a good rapport with children and be keen to live and work in a foreign environment. Generally the minimum length of a volunteer position is 2 months. This is a fantastic experience for someone who wants to use their teaching skills in a charitable setting.  Hoi An is a beautiful world heritage site in Central Vietnam. The children are wonderful to work with and are very enthusiastic about their opportunity to learn to swim.  The local people are very welcoming and appreciative of the assistance we are giving to their community.  Please note that for all successful applicants, we will request a police report from your home country in order to ensure your suitability to work with children. If you want further details then please email jostewartscot@yahoo.co.uk
