OLYMPIC DISTANCE TRIATHLON
1.5km/40km/10km

Swim
The 1500m swim consists of 2 x 750m laps in the crystal clear blue waters of the South China Sea, off the palm-fringed sands of world class Cua Dai beach. Water temperature is around 29C, so wetsuites are not allowed.

Cycle
The new bike course of the Vietnam International Triathlon is even faster than the previous one. The flat and straight 2 lap bike course along the coast is made for record braking times. There will be a drink station around the 20km mark.

Run
This flat, picturesque run winds through the narrow streets of an ancient fishing village, where friendly locals will cheer you on from their back yard gardens. The course also takes in the mini boat harbour and coastline for a spectacular finish at the hotel lawn. The course is 3 laps of 3.3km and drink stations (water, isotonic drink and sponges) are available every two kilometres.

SPRINT DUATHLON
3km Run / 10km Bike

Best deal in town: One lap of the run course and an early turn on the bike course gives you the same experience as the triathlon, but for less than half the distance.


KIDS AQUATHLON
200m Swim / 1.5km Run

The most exciting race of the weekend starts with a 200m swim in the South China Sea, followed by a 1.5km out and back run on the coastal road and a festive finish at the triathlon festival grounds.
