Tribob is a sports management company based in Singapore which provides expert triathlon (i.e. swimming, running and cycling) coaching to amateur athletes in Singapore as well as organising triathlon events around Asia. Tribob is the
organiser of the Vietnam Hoi An International Triathlon held annually in Hoi An. This is a high profile event which attracts athletes from around the world. For more information see www.vietnamtriathlon.com
While organising the triathlon in August 2007 Tribob realised that local children could not compete in a swimming race because very few of the children knew how to swim. It was then discovered that many children’s lives are lost due to drowning in Vietnam. Many of these lives could be saved if the children knew how to swim. Joanne Stewart - Project Director
Joanne is from Glasgow, Scotland. Her professional background is in Investment Management. She recently lived in Singapore for 5 years where she was a member of Tribob as an amateur triathlete. Le Thi Thu Van - Project Manager
Van is from Hoi An. She became involved in the program when her daughter participated in the program in 2009. She is fluent in both English and Vietnamese (and Swedish!).

Duong Van Thanh - Swim Coach
Thanh is Manager of the Sport & Recreation Department at Palm Gardens Resort, a local hotel in Hoi An. He has 20 years of swim coaching experience, 10 years of which was in the Army Sport Training Centre.
Doan Minh Trung - Swim Coach
Trung worked as a lifequard for Victoria Hotel and is now manager of a local jetski business. He is qualified in lifesaving and CPR and is certified by Royal Life Saving Society - Australia. He is a frequent competitor and winner in regional swimming competitions.
Vo Van Vinh - Swim Coach
Vinh is a local sports school teacher. He trained in swimming and swim teaching at the University of Da Nang, Vietnam.
Liem - Swim Coach
Liem is the newest member of our teaching team. He works as a lifeguard at one of the local hotels.
